Community Cares

What is it?

In an effort to bless more people with our flowers, we are so excited to announce that we’ll be launching the Community Cares program during the 2024 growing season! Our hope is that this program will allow us to share the joy of flowers with those in need.

How does it work?

Each month, we will open up an entry form for nominations (see below). Give us a little information about the situation (you don’t have to give us the recipient’s name). The randomly selected recipient will receive a free flower arrangement from our farm. 

How will the recipients get the flowers?

There’s a catch… we named it Community Cares because it is going to be a team effort. Not only do we need our community to nominate deserving people, but we need your help distributing these bouquets! During the growing season, we are usually up to our eyeballs in farm-related tasks like harvesting, weeding, planting, and fulfilling subscriptions. But we don’t want that to limit our ability to carry out this program. So if you nominate someone, can we ask that you be willing to swing by the farm to pick up and deliver their flowers to them? 

What types of situations qualify?

We won’t be the gatekeepers of what makes a bad situation for someone… you can nominate anyone you’d like. But some of the things we had in mind when envisioning this program include news of a negative health diagnosis/condition, recovering from surgery, death of a loved one, loss of a job, living alone and needing some cheer, etc. You get the idea, right?
